If you have signed a Sole Agency agreement you are permitted to sell your property yourself without paying the agent a fee - provided that the buyer was not introduced to you by the agent during the contract period.
Make sure you don't sign a Sole Selling Rights agreement as this means that even if you do sell your property yourself, you STILL have to pay the agent their commission!
